The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role within a dynamic maintenance team. Responsibilities include delivering multi-disciplinary engineering support and first-line maintenance across the facility, addressing both mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting, and executing scheduled maintenance tasks. The primary goal is to ensure that all manufacturing equipment is consistently operational and to enhance processes through continuous monitoring.
Shift Details:
Rotating shifts of 3 days on, 3 days off, covering both day and night schedules, with hours from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.
Opportunities for overtime are abundant, with enhanced pay rates available.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:
- Conducting planned maintenance and providing breakdown assistance across all operational areas.
- Understanding the significance of facility operations in maintaining optimal plant performance.
- Ensuring maximum equipment availability while minimizing downtime through effective engineering practices.
- Engaging in learning and development opportunities, actively participating in project initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Ideal candidates will possess relevant engineering experience and hold qualifications in either Electrical or Mechanical disciplines. While experience in food manufacturing is preferred, it is not mandatory; however, familiarity with FMCG or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
