We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Architect to join our team at N Brown. As a key member of our architecture function, you will play a pivotal role in defining and designing the architectures that underpin our digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and articulate current state physical and logical architectures.
- Work alongside engineering technical leads and System Integrators to architect and govern cost-efficient, scalable solutions.
- Govern system designs to ensure that appropriate patterns and standards are applied effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various systems.
- Evangelise the adoption of future state technology architectures.
- Work with Product teams to coordinate the assessment of modern technologies and how they can be effectively introduced to the enterprise.
- Work closely with stakeholders across functions to influence outcomes from ideation through to implementation.
- Cultivate relationships with technical stakeholders to ensure architectural governance is applied uniformly.
- Influence technology direction and strategy.
- Question the status-quo to drive better outcomes across the enterprise.
- Work with the Architecture community and business stakeholders to build transformation roadmaps.
- Participate in the creation of RFI/RFP documentation and assessment of bid responses from external technology vendors.
- Proven experience in an architecture role in Retail/Ecommerce and/or Financial Services environment.
- Experience of working with Product or Agile teams, governing architectural designs to enable continuous delivery.
- Develop solution proposals to meet customer requirements with good understanding of integration standards and patterns.
- Deep understanding of microservices, headless, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in designing and deploying solutions in cloud-native enterprise applications in public, private, and hybrid cloud models.
- Practical experience of governing solutions in an architecture function.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence outcomes.
- Flexibility and desire to learn.
- Awareness of IT industry trends and vendor neutrality.
- Ability to plan and rationalise project goals.
- Decisiveness and ability to present proposed solutions with confidence.
- Experience with AWS and AWS Certified Solution Architect certification.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, TOGAF, or Zachman.
- Experience with performing a Solution Architecture role during large-scale transformation programmes.
- Experience with customer master data, logistics, and marketing platforms.
- Experience with integration and eventing platform technologies and capabilities.
- Experience of business activities around areas such as financial, commercial, procurement, security, and service management.
