Llamau Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing day-to-day emotional and practical support to young people, empowering them to gain independence and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and build strong relationships with young people, understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • Provide support and advice in line with support plans and as requested by the young person's keyworker, working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Remain calm and collected in challenging and traumatic situations, utilizing a forward-thinking attitude to crisis response.

Location: Brecon

Contract: 1x Part Time and 2x Full Time positions available, Permanent

Hours: 47 hours per week (Full Time) Support Assistants working a shift pattern including two night shifts (4.45pm-9.45am) and two day shifts (9.30am-5pm) per week.

An IT test will be required to be undertaken, candidates will need to have access to Microsoft Word. This will be a timed test.
