Mobile Maintenance Electrician Opportunity

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our national client on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment
Requirements:
  • Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Package:
  • Competitive salary between £43,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Van & fuel card supplied
  • Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
