Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for various projects across the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work collaboratively with a design team to develop reports, specifications, and detailed design solutions.
  2. Utilize specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software to design compliant systems solutions.
  3. Conduct design calculations to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  4. Conduct site surveys and gather relevant data to support project appointments.
  5. Review construction design details and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Communicate effectively with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors.
  7. Attend project group and technical meetings to ensure design and maintenance meet legislative and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  1. Experience in design solutions from conception to completion, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  2. Hold a Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND).
  3. Working towards IEng registration, with registration fee paid for.
  4. Proficiency in Revit software, with training provided for those who need it.
