About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietitian to join our team at the University Hospital of North Tees. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals through expert dietary guidance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide dietary advice to malnourished patients, including nutritional diagnosis, interpreting clinical conditions, and creating effective care plans.
  • Act as an educator to care assistants and students based in the service, promoting best practices in patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of their condition and provide personalized support.
  • Establish enteral feeding and ensure seamless care coordination.

Person Specification

  • Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration).
  • Degree or equivalent in Dietetics.
