About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Five Guys. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our restaurant, leading a team of Shift Managers and Crew members to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Shift Managers and Crew members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support the General Manager in driving restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with training and development of new team members.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and other operational metrics to ensure profitability.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably with Five Guys.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
