Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to fill the role of Head of Department on a locum basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to our employment law department during the permanent recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy to drive business growth
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand our client base
  • Oversee the provision of employment and HR services to commercial clients
  • Deliver training sessions to the wider department on employment law and HR best practices
  • Manage cases for both claimants and respondents, providing expert advice and representation
  • Represent individual clients at Tribunals, ensuring the highest level of client care
Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 7 years' PQE
  • Exceptional knowledge of employment law, with a proven track record in business development
  • Strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and exceptional client care abilities
  • Familiarity with Case Management Systems and experience with ELA membership are advantageous
