About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team at Prometheus Safe and Secure. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our qualified nursing staff in safely transferring patients and providing care across various business areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified nursing staff in safely conveying and transferring patients under their care.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Drive Prometheus ambulances as required, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for patient transfers, including risk history and current presentation.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during transfers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely records, adhering to company policy and reporting any issues as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders, actively listening to establish an understanding of patient needs.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Proactive and positive self-starter with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS and full UK driving license.
  • Currently working in a compliance-focused role.
  • Right to work in the UK.
