Job Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our team at Mitie, a leading facilities management company. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of monitoring, one-off remedial cleaning, chemical testing, and minor plumbing tasks across a variety of client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out plumbing tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
  • Be an ambassador for Mitie while visiting customer sites.
  • Maintain customer water safe logbooks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company guidelines.
  • Take water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with the Water Technical Manual guidance.
  • Complete and submit all documentation relating to the work carried out in a timely manner.
  • Produce documentation to follow the progress of any paperwork regarding customer queries.
  • Carry out water system cleaning and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 with guidance from the Water Technical Manual.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Commercial Plumbers within the FM sector.
  • Experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment is desirable.
  • Basic IT skills, preferably with Microsoft package.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing is an essential minimum requirement for this role.
