About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled General Building Operative to join our team at HMP Holme House. As the sole agency supplier to the HM Prison Service, we are responsible for providing maintenance trades and support operatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance team with various tasks, including reactive maintenance and damage repair.
  • Perform basic joinery work, plumbing, electrical tasks, and ground maintenance.
  • Assist with labouring and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a full prison security clearance and enhanced DBS.
  • Hold a valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence.
  • Provide proof of National Insurance and proof of address dated in the past 3 months.
  • Have at least 2 satisfactory employment references.
