Job Title: Commercial Property Lawyer

Reports to: Senior Conveyancing Manager

Standard hours of work: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)

CRA Legal, a highly regarded law firm in Sheffield, is seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a varied caseload of both residential and commercial property transactions, contributing to the success of a forward-thinking and client-centric organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a range of property matters, primarily focused on commercial and residential transactions, ensuring that all work is completed in line with the firm's KPIs and service level agreements.
  • Manage your own caseload of residential and commercial property sales, purchases, and remortgages, ensuring timely completion of all matters.
  • Deliver excellent client service in all communications, including telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Consistently meet individual targets, contributing to team performance and the achievement of monthly completion goals.
  • Attend regular training sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings to stay updated on industry trends and legal developments.
  • Ensure full compliance with anti-money laundering legislation, CQS requirements, and SRA standards, maintaining the highest level of legal and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a conveyancing fee earner, with applications from more senior candidates also considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve individual performance targets and business KPIs.
  • Familiarity with modern, process-driven conveyancing practices, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and case management systems.
  • Experience with online portals such as the Land Registry and SDLT.
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing processes, with compliance knowledge in anti-money laundering, SRA, and CQS requirements.
