Job Title: Front of House Lecturer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front of House Lecturer to join our team at a Further Education college in West Yorkshire.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students aged 16-18, focusing on Level 2 and Level 3 courses in hospitality and catering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and record progress to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of online learning resources and participate in quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching and assessing hospitality and catering courses.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Knowledge of current teaching practices and technologies, including Microsoft Office and Google platforms.
