Job Summary:

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to the inpatients team at an NHS hospital service in Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical support to the inpatients team, including dispensing medication and managing patient records
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of pharmacy services and policies
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication management systems

Requirements:

  • Band 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting, preferably in an inpatients team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
