Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Quantity Surveyor - Rail Sector

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Intersect Global Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial management of a portfolio of rail projects valued at circa £20M-£30M.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Commercial Management:** Lead the commercial management of a portfolio of rail projects, including drafting and negotiation of supply chain contracts, management of subcontractors, and management of allocated control accounts.
  • **Cost Management:** Manage costs and records to ensure agreement of defined costs with Network Rail site representatives, and utilize site commercial and document systems (Oracle, CEMAR, ProjectWise, Forecasting Tools).
  • **Commercial Support:** Provide commercial support to the procurement process, including providing commercial advice and guidance to the project team.
  • **Experience:** The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of commercial success delivering rail-related civils schemes valued upwards of £10M, and will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar.
Requirements:
  • **Experience:** No less than 3-4 years of experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level, with experience working on civil engineering, earthworks, or utility projects under NEC terms.
  • **Education:** BSc Quantity Surveying or similar.
