About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Portering Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a flexible and efficient quality service extending care and consideration to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Receive work requests via telephone, email, and the Trust's in-house task management system, and take prompt and appropriate action in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Prioritize work and direct staff accordingly to ensure optimum use of resources.
  • Undertake all portering and support worker duties, including dispatching, corridor clearance, furniture requests, and office moves.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a quality service to all patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with the Trust's purpose and values.

Working Pattern

12 hour shifts, including nights, days, weekends, and bank holidays, for which allowances will be paid.
