About the Role
The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our dynamic and experienced mechanical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient maintenance package of our wide-ranging building services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across all areas within the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's estate.
- Contribute to the development of the team, ensuring that the Trust's Visions and Values are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with the Estates Department to provide planned and reactive maintenance, alterations, and installation of engineering services, equipment, and fixtures.
- Work safely and effectively as a valued member of the mechanical team.
Requirements
- Apprentice-trained or hold a Level 3 related qualification in a suitable mechanical discipline.
- Demonstratable knowledge within the field of mechanical engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Pattern
Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00. Opportunity for overtime and callouts.
