Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass:

  • Preparing equipment and materials according to instructional specifications
  • Assisting in organizing major sporting events throughout the academic year
  • Updating the sports noticeboard with relevant information
  • Supporting the planning and execution of trips and extracurricular activities
  • Setting up and dismantling sports events and activities
  • Maintaining sports equipment in optimal condition
  • Facilitating sporting clubs and leading warm-up sessions as necessary
  • Coordinating with finance for pitch bookings
  • Managing the cleaning and organization of sports kits
  • Contributing to the organization of events such as sports presentations and competitions
  • Preparing necessary correspondence as required
  • Conducting safety checks and risk assessments for activities
  • Handling communication and relaying messages effectively
  • Arranging fixtures and maintaining fixture lists
  • Engaging in extracurricular activities
  • Understanding various Physical Education and Sport syllabi.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A-Level qualifications or equivalent in Physical Education or Sport
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • A solid understanding of various sporting activities
  • A valid driving license
  • Experience in a technician role within an educational setting, handling practical tasks
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.
