The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Tutor to work with children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Nottingham area. The successful candidate will deliver one-to-one sessions to young people unable to attend mainstream education, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English and Maths
- Build strong relationships with students, understanding their individual needs and abilities
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Ability to create fun and interactive learning experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in various settings, including students' homes, local libraries, or community centers
