Job Summary:
The Senior Team Leader - Despatch Operations will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient running of the Despatch and Palletiser areas at Greenvale AP. This role will involve communicating with colleagues and other departments to ensure the execution of all orders for delivery/collection are completed in a timely manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and distribute workload to the Despatch team to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure all control sheets and paperwork are completed accurately and in compliance with company procedures.
- Conduct regular spot checks to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead daily briefings to ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities and any changes to procedures.
- Ensure all orders for delivery/collection are executed correctly and in accordance with company policies.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure the Despatch team is equipped to operate in accordance with site rules and procedures.
- Participate in internal auditing processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Lead and drive compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure haulier departure times are met to maintain efficient logistics operations.
- Ensure the safe operation of machinery and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Attributes:
- Proven experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to make decisions and prioritise tasks to achieve business objectives.

- Self-motivation and ability to motivate others to achieve team goals.
- Safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Valid ITSARR, AITT, or RTITB Forklift licence is required due to the nature of the role.
