We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Maldon. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that foster curiosity and a love for learning in our Early Years students
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels safe and supported to explore and grow
- Monitor and support individual learning progress, providing insightful feedback to parents and carers
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a holistic, child-centered curriculum that makes learning fun and engaging
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role
- Current Enhanced DBS check
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Fantastic communication skills – building relationships with children and adults alike
- Experience with the EYFS curriculum and working with Nursery or Reception-aged children
- Specialist training in early childhood development or play-based learning
- Experience using technology to enhance early years learning
This is a full-time role in a supportive school environment. You will work closely with young children, parents, and a talented team of educators to create a joyful, enriching experience for every child. You may also be involved in extracurricular activities, school trips, and special events that make school life exciting
