The Role
We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, who will work closely with our experienced Quantity Surveyors to manage specific schemes and provide support to our clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quantity surveying within the residential sector, ideally on new build schemes, and a knowledge and understanding of refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day cost control, cash management, subcontractor management, risk management, and financial reporting.
- Prepare valuations (internal and external) and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with internal customers, clients, and supply chain to ensure successful project delivery.
- Have a good knowledge of regulations, current materials, rates, prices, and commercial awareness.
- Be an excellent communicator and negotiator who can agree rates and prices without compromising company margins.
Requirements
- A track record in commercial management from within a recognised contracting organisation.
- Understanding of various Contract forms.
