Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Southwest of England. As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing commercial processes and procedures on civil engineering projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage effective commercial procedures across civil engineering contracts.
- Oversee additional works processes to ensure all items beyond the contract's limit of liability are identified and captured.
- Provide commercial insights to drive profitable growth and support the organization's long-term objectives.
- Serve as the key commercial interface across the account on all related issues.
- Create, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, and governance to manage commercial risk.
- Support the operations team on contractual and commercial requirements and address any related implications of non-performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector.
- Experience in managing commercial processes and procedures within civils projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- HND/degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
