Support Assistant Required for Senior Client

A compassionate senior individual in need of assistance is looking for 1 or 2 Support Assistants to provide essential non-medical support. Following a recent unfortunate event, she requires help with her daily routines. The responsibilities include tasks such as ensuring hydration, managing her commode, providing snacks, and facilitating occasional outings in a wheelchair for some fresh air.

  • Two visits per day, each lasting 30 minutes, preferably around late afternoon and evening
  • Preference for assistants with a Christian ethos
  • Engagement in social and leisure activities is encouraged
  • Support aimed at promoting independence

The Support Assistant should be observant of her needs and preferences, ready to ask about her wishes even during her moments of rest, to ensure the best possible assistance.

This role requires more than one assistant to cover the daily visits, totaling 9 hours weekly. The remuneration is set at £15.85 per hour for self-employed assistants, with potential flexibility based on experience.

Additional training in Safeguarding Adults/Children, Understanding Challenging Behavior, and First Aid will be offered.
