Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Atlas Elektronik. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in embedded systems and robotics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead software developments and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Develop embedded software using C/C++ and RTOS, with a focus on autonomous or robotics software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of software engineering lifecycle processes and tools
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead software developments and manage complex projects
  • Experience developing embedded software with C/C++ and RTOS, with a focus on autonomous or robotics software
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Desirable Skills

  • C/C++ for embedded systems
  • LabView
  • Matlab/Simulink
  • Exposure to AI/ML techniques and methodologies
  • Requirements management (DOORS experience desirable)

Challenges

  • Python (ideally with exposure to one or more of Tensor Flow, Keras or Scikit)
  • Rockwell PLC programming (Studio 5000)
  • Atlassian Toolset
  • Communication protocols (CANBus, Ethernet/IP, RS485)
  • Database design
