Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class One Driver to join our team at Silver Arrow Recruitment. As a Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK, utilizing the latest generation of transporter equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation of Commercial Vehicles: Safely transport commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Product Loading and Restraint: Load and secure products on the transporter, ensuring they are properly restrained and protected during transit.
  • Documentation and Inspection: Complete inspection and delivery documentation, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • HGV Class One Licence: Possess a valid HGV Class One licence, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Physical Fitness: Maintain a good level of physical fitness, as the role involves working at height and requires exertion.
  • CPC and Digi Tacho: Hold a valid CPC and Digi Tacho, with no more than 6 points on your licence and no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes.
