About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Davies Talent Solutions. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients, while supporting the Tax Director with client management, identifying tax advisory opportunities, and contributing to the development of the tax team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Portfolio Management
    • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Tax Return Preparation
    • Prepare and submit accurate tax returns, including income tax and capital gains tax.
  • Tax Advisory Services
    • Provide expert tax advice to clients, identifying planning opportunities and mitigating potential tax risks.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Work closely with clients to understand their financial circumstances and provide tailored solutions.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure seamless client service.
  • Relationship Building
    • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Team Development
    • Contribute to the development of the tax team through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be qualified, or working towards, ATT or CTA with a proven track record in personal tax compliance and advisory. You will have strong technical knowledge of UK tax, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in managing client relationships and expectations is also essential.
