ROLE: CAD Design Engineer
SALARY: Up to £35,000 DOE
LOCATION: Midlands (office based)
COMPANY: Midas, a leading manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design new and existing products in 3D using CAD software.
- Generate 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models.
- Oversee the production of 3D printed prototypes using in-house equipment, refining designs based on testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and research and development departments.
- Update and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes in coordination with the Technical Manager.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Set up filing systems for drawings to ensure they remain current and are properly stored.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
