Midwife Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Midwife to join our team at The Portland Hospital for Women & Children in London.

Job Summary:

As a Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prenatal check-ups and monitor fetal development
  • Assist with labour and delivery
  • Offer guidance on newborn care
  • Provide exceptional care and support to expectant mothers

Requirements:

  • NMC Registration with a minimum of 6 months validity
  • Minimum of 6 months of post-qualification experience as a Midwife
  • Ability to fulfill our framework compliance requirements, including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References, and an updated CV
  • Proof of right to work within the UK
