Commercial Scientist

As a Junior Ocean Environment Scientist at ECO Magazine, you will have the opportunity to work with a world-leading organisation, supporting a team of experts to gain a deeper understanding of the world's oceans.

You will work closely with our experienced ocean science specialists to provide data and information that is essential for delivering an assessment of the environmental conditions that our customers are likely to encounter.

This includes physical oceanography, marine biology, underwater acoustics, and marine geology, as well as processing and analysing data to create descriptions of the marine environment.

You will also be responsible for programming in one of the following languages: R, Python, or Matlab, and be able to pick up other programming languages quickly.
