Residential Property Paralegal Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join our busy property team at Simpson Judge Ltd in Central Manchester.

The successful candidate will assist solicitors with a caseload of residential sales and developer plot sales, from instruction to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing file opening forms and amending initial letters to issue to clients.
  • Drafting and amending relevant documents, such as contracts and transfer deeds.
  • Updating solicitors and partners on matter progression.
  • Undertaking searches for properties and checking results.
  • Completing relevant checklists and documents.
  • Attending to post-completion formalities.
  • Providing general administration support.
  • Closing files and running anti-money laundering checks.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage workload and prioritise tasks.
  • At least 12 months' experience as a Residential Property Paralegal.
  • A degree-level educational background.
