Overview:
Storm Recruitment (Swindon) is seeking a dedicated Logistics Associate to support our warehouse operations and activities. The primary objective is to enhance operational efficiency and ensure client satisfaction.
This position requires the selected candidate to adapt to client needs, with the possibility of securing a permanent role for those who demonstrate exceptional performance and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and manage warehouse inventory (including picking, labeling, unloading, and storing).
2. Maintain a clean and safe working environment while optimizing available space.
3. Report any inconsistencies or issues encountered.
4. Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
5. Engage in heavy lifting as necessitated by the nature of the products handled.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Familiarity with contemporary warehousing practices and methodologies.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capacity to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to commute for scheduled shifts.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be physically fit, as the role involves handling products that can be quite heavy.
