The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive individual to join our award-winning Public Affairs team in London as an Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing high-quality internal and external content, often under tight timelines and with competing priorities
  • Monitoring political announcements and parliamentary activity
  • Supporting political engagement programmes, including creating stakeholder maps and handling logistical arrangements
  • Developing biographical and policy briefings, including conducting research to inform these documents
  • Aiding in new business processes, including idea contribution, research, and presentation development
  • Supporting event management, including liaising with MPs' offices and handling logistics
  • Building relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience within a political party, particularly the Labour Party, is desirable but not essential
  • Experience within a public affairs environment and knowledge of Parliamentary procedure is desirable but not essential
  • A keen interest in current affairs and UK policy
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and highly motivated environment
  • Proven track record of prioritizing workloads and handling unexpected requests
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to articulate your point of view with confidence
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and planning skills
  • Team player and collaborative mindset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to 'get stuck in' and make the most of opportunities
