Job Title: Chartered Wealth Planner

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Wealth Planner to join our team in Stafford. As a key member of our wealth management firm, you will be responsible for delivering financial planning services to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Partners in delivering financial planning services to UHNW clients, including:
  • Opening SIPP accounts and generating illustrations
  • Pension consolidations, transfers, and switches
  • Pension contribution reporting and advisory work
  • Analyzing and advising on offshore bonds
  • Understanding and advising on trusts
  • Managing client relationships to independently oversee some UHNW clients
  • Business development: actively seeking out new client opportunities alongside Partners, and later independently
Requirements:
  • Qualified Pension Specialist (holding either the Certificate in Pension Transfer Advice or the CII Unit AF7 Award)
  • Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice
  • Experience in providing financial planning advice to high-net-worth clients (with cases of £1m+)
  • Strong technical knowledge in financial planning, particularly pensions and offshore bonds, with the ability to handle all but the most complex cases without supervision
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and credibility when dealing with UHNW clients
  • A keen eye for detail, with the motivation to deliver outstanding results for clients
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work autonomously
