Job Title: Transport Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at Vistry Works Leicester. As a key member of our Logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods and materials to our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Contract Managers and planning teams to ensure accurate delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with 3PL providers to arrange shipments of finished goods and sundries
  • Manage trailer availability to meet workload demands
  • Process purchase orders for transportation services
  • Communicate with the Logistics team on load requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Despatch/Logistics role
  • Experience with 3PL and transportation management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
