Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our team, responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience working in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a set of monthly management accounts, actuals and forecast, and investigate and explain variances.
  • Manage cashflow and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and submission of HMRC returns (VAT, PAYE, CIS) and any relevant queries arising.
  • Develop and improve systems to support operational efficiency across the organisation.
  • Manage annual audit and preparation of statutory returns.
  • Provide weekly KPI reporting, including sales performance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

A strong background in accounting and finance, with experience working in the construction industry.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
