Position Overview:
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be an integral part of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate at peak efficiency with minimal downtime, while maintaining safety and mechanical integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, your duties will include:
1. Conducting regular inspections of engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, trailers, excavators, and tyres.
2. Coordinating the transfer of machinery that requires repairs beyond on-site capabilities to the workshop.
3. Performing routine servicing of plant and equipment both on-site and in the workshop.
