Academic School Tutor Opportunity

London College of Fashion (LCF) is seeking an academic with Higher Education experience to join our team as a College Admissions Tutor. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a positive applicant experience and inspiring the next generation of creatives at University of the Arts London (UAL).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic oversight of the offer making process to applicants across a Subject Area / School / Programme / Course.
  • Ensure sufficient academic offers are made to meet student intake targets, and that academic decision making is made swiftly, consistently and within agreed turnaround times.
  • Collaborate closely with Course teams, other Colleges and the Admissions Service to create a network of cross-subject connections.
  • Support alternative academic decision making and cross-referral of unsuccessful applicants.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience of teaching and assessment in a Higher Education environment.
  • Research, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of relevant subject activity.
  • Awareness of the regulatory framework for HE academic awards and quality standards.
