Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting a range of IT initiatives, collaborating with departmental resources and the broader charity to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus will be on the effective delivery of projects, which includes:
- Monitoring progress in collaboration with internal and partner project managers.
- Coordinating project updates, conducting weekly review meetings, and distributing project reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitating project execution by managing assigned tasks.
- Communicating project developments, including IT rollouts, network issues, and operational activities.
- Tracking interdependencies among projects and reporting on their status.
- Managing and tracking project-related purchase orders.
- Compiling and updating risk and issue logs at the portfolio level.
- Maintaining budget trackers for the portfolio.
- Keeping project schedules up to date.
- Identifying issues that require escalation.
- Assisting in project delivery as needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess experience in IT project management, particularly with Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 applications.
A strong background in managing project budgets exceeding £1 million, along with comprehensive lifecycle implementations, is essential.
The ability to collaborate effectively within a project team and demonstrate proficient written and verbal communication skills is crucial. Adherence to St Andrew's CARE values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence is expected in all interactions.
