Job Title: Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to join our team in Sudbury. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the shop, including sales, customer service, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales and customer service teams to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Oversee daily shop operations, including stock management, cash handling, and EPOS system maintenance
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteers to maximize sales and revenue for participating charities
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure day-to-day operations are met and sales targets are achieved
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue, and implement strategies to achieve these goals
Requirements:
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, preferably in retail or sales
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and volunteers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Commercial awareness and ability to make decisions to drive revenue
