Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced research nurse to join our team as a member of the TASC Research Nurse Service. The successful candidate will work closely with the Professor James Chalmers Respiratory Research Group, conducting world-class research in chronic lung diseases such as bronchiectasis, COPD, and pneumonia.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver a portfolio of studies in respiratory medicine, including clinical trials of investigational medicinal products.
- Provide high-quality care to study participants, adhering to clinical trials regulations, research governance, and ICH Good Clinical Practice.
- Develop innovative strategies to ensure timely and targeted recruitment for studies.
- Collaborate with Investigators, CRC Managers, Research and Clinical Teams in various settings, including hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, and Primary Care.
- Contribute to the development of new evidence, improving patient care, and advancing treatment regimens and pathways.
- Education to degree level or equivalent experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform at the required level.
- Registration on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work effectively as a team member.
