GLL is seeking an Exhibition Visitor Engagement Coordinator to enhance the visitor experience at our cultural venue. This role is not just a position; it represents a significant opportunity for career growth and development.
We are in search of a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual to become part of our Visitor Engagement team. As the Exhibition Visitor Engagement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional visitor experience while supporting the execution of our dynamic exhibitions and events schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for all inquiries related to the gallery, ensuring a high standard of service that enriches the visitor experience. Maintain a thorough understanding of the venue's programs and exhibitions, actively engaging with visitors to share insights and promote events and artworks. Execute daily gallery operations, including opening and closing duties, while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the environment and security of all exhibits. Assist the Exhibitions Manager in researching, planning, and curating exhibitions, including preparation and installation tasks such as painting display areas and documenting artworks. Support the administration of the exhibitions program by coordinating with artists, managing contracts, and overseeing the logistics of artwork delivery and inventory management. Help monitor and assess the effectiveness of creative programs by collecting visitor feedback and utilizing digital tools for data analysis. Stay informed about safety protocols and assist in emergency procedures as directed by management. Collaborate with the Visitor Experience & Operations Manager to address and resolve any issues that may affect the visitor experience. Remain vigilant during operational hours to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, promptly reporting any concerns to management. Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness.Qualifications:
Strong customer service abilities Experience in a public-facing role, ideally within a gallery, museum, or cultural institution Confidence in engaging with diverse audiences A genuine interest in the arts and culture Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills Familiarity with event coordination and exhibition administration Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.GLL, as a charitable social enterprise, offers a range of employee benefits:
