Job Summary:

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join their team at Kilbraur Wind Farm in the Highlands of Scotland. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Work at heights, requiring good levels of personal fitness and ability to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester step test).
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineer qualification.
  • Hydraulics skills (desirable but not essential).
  • Good levels of personal fitness and ability to work at heights.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester step test).
