We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The White House Surgery. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical pharmacy team and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the clinical pharmacy team to improve patient outcomes and quality of life through effective medication use.
- Provide advice and support to patients and colleagues on medication-related matters.
- Conduct home visits and care home reviews to monitor medication use and provide recommendations to clinicians.
- Assist in the development and implementation of medication-related policies and procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss medication concordance issues and provide expert advice.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Minimum of one year's experience working in a medicines-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours (rarely).
