About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Financial Planning and Wealth Management to join our team at evelyn Partners. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning and wealth management advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, providing tailored financial planning and wealth management advice to meet their individual needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial planners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our client base, while maintaining and developing existing relationships.
  • Financial Planning and Wealth Management: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, ensuring that their financial objectives are met and their risk attitudes are understood and considered.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure that individual and team targets are met.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all client advice and recommendations are in line with regulatory requirements and company policies, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial planning or wealth management role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality client advice and service.
  • Qualifications: A relevant level 4 qualification or above in financial planning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and a Statement of Professional Standing.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
