Technical Advisor

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Advisor to provide technical support and assistance to the Sales department and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and filing of standard technical documents and CAD drawings, as well as assisting in product testing programs and continuous improvement of technical service and customer experience.

1. Provide technical information to support the sale of products.
2. Offer robust technical advice and solutions to design-related problems.
3. Conduct in-depth calculations and qualifications to determine the suitability of products for use.
4. Specify products correctly by application.
5. Approve technical drawings submitted by others.
6. Develop ideas for service and product improvement based on customer feedback.
7. Create technical documents and drawings for internal and customer use.
8. Enhance the existing library of NBS specifications, CAD, and Revit drawings.
9. Engage in continuous improvement activities for Technical Support.
10. Address issues related to site practice.
11. Follow company procedures and policies, and report any concerns of non-compliance immediately.

1. Computer literacy, including Autodesk software.
2. Experience working with Revit, Inventor, and Fusion 360 is preferred.
3. Good understanding of mathematical and structural principles.
4. Ability to read and understand drawings.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Previous experience in communicating technical information to a customer base is desirable, as is formal certification.
7. Degree, HNC, or HND in Design, Architectural Technology, an Engineering discipline, or construction allied curriculum is desirable.
