Job Details

At Burwell Village College, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support identified pupils in lessons and at lunchtimes and breaktimes
  • Work as part of a team to develop a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans and provide targeted support to meet the needs of children with SEND
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to supporting children with SEND
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills in children with SEND
