Detailed Responsibilities
- Advocate for and assist in the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
- Support Programme Managers, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads as required.
- Travel to various locations as necessary to fulfill job duties.
- Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients.
- Engage in clinical supervision and contribute to the professional development of team members.
- Ensure that all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are documented and addressed in accordance with organizational policies.
- Participate in audits, offering recommendations based on findings and sharing insights with the team for collective learning.
- Attend clinical supervision sessions with the Clinical Lead as directed.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing constructively to discussions.
- Conduct Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent from parents and guardians.
- Undertake additional responsibilities commensurate with the role.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- Proven record of ongoing professional development.
- Experience working within Patient Group Directions (PGD).
- Familiarity with the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
- Knowledge of informed consent principles.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Understanding of cold chain management, ordering, and transport logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Paramedics and Physiotherapists registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Optometrists registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
