Job Title: CNC Turner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team at Line Up Aviation. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for the CNC Turning of Aerospace equipment, adhering to strict manufacturing instructions and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Turning of Aerospace equipment to meet customer specifications
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and following process layout and documentation procedures
  • Ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard
  • Operating 2 Axis Lathes and setting and running bespoke work
  • Stamping to confirm quality of assemblies to customer standards
  • Working effectively in a lean environment

Requirements:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of machining, specifically CNC & Manual Turning or relative machining experience
  • Knowledge of hand measuring equipment, such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thread and Plug Gauges
  • High standard of Health & Safety
  • Adhering to Company Processes & Procedures
  • Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets

Attributes/Skills Required:

  • Understanding of Aerospace practice and safety critical work
  • PC literate
  • Ability to display essential skills in Health & Safety, teamwork, flexibility, and initiative
  • Continuous Improvement

Education & Training:

  • Strong experience in a similar role
