About the Role
This role can be based at any of our BMT office locations and offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements. Travel to customer sites or meetings may be required.
Your Responsibilities
As a Land Domain Safety Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in safety assessment and analysis techniques across diverse systems and platforms. You will:
- Apply established processes and tools to develop comprehensive safety evidence for compliance with defense land regulations and relevant standards.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of complex defense land systems and platforms.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct safety audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Your Qualifications and Skills
We seek candidates with:
- Relevant academic qualifications and/or professional accreditations in engineering and/or safety disciplines.
- A thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards, including DSA 02: Defence Land Safety Regulator, ASEMS POSMS, Def Stan, and Def Stan 00-055.
- Experience in safety assessment and/or independent safety audits.
